8A- Solving the Problem

Selected Opportunity: The United States economy is a cyclical trend involving expansionary and recessionary gaps. We have been in a slow and steady incline for the past few years, which has been a growing concern of mine as I graduate from undergrad in two short years. If this trend persists, will we hit another recession of similar magnitude of 2008 when my peers and I are looking for jobs post-college?

Product/Service Idea: My product idea is a mobile application. In my mobile application, I have one segment where it shows a day by day snapshot of what is happening currently in the economy and a separate segment underneath it which pulls up a similar day and period in history and pulls up the effects the economy had on that time period.
